The College of Information Technology was established in June 2007 at the University of Eastern Pangasinan to keep up with the evolving trends in the field of information and communications technology. CIT’s vision is to become a vibrant learning community where students are encouraged to examine, learn and excel in different domains of information and communications technology. To attain this vision, CIT provides a broad spectrum of academic disciplines, up-to-date practices and appropriate IT knowledge designed to train students and equip them with the skills needed to adapt in a highly dynamic culture and contribute to society as highly qualified IT professionals.
Since its establishment, the College has produced a long list of TESDA Computer Hardware Servicing National Certificate II passers. At present, CIT is guided by its unique institutional advocacy, iThink, iLearn and iEngage, originally conceptualized by its founding program head, Cris AMor Guieb.
